Default Hello BHPians

Hello BHPians,
I am Shashank. Basically a Mumbaikar but have been in Pune for last 15+ years of my life. I am 36 years of age and an IT software professional from last 15+ years. I like to go on drives ( on traffic free roads &#128521. I have always been an on and off reader of the site(at least last 5 years as a guest before becoming a member). I am a petrol head considering my usage and have owned 2 cars till now Maruti Ritz VXI and now a Honda city ivtec VX(MT). I have used guidance from teambhp both the times before shortlisting my car - even the color and trim. Off late have increased the time being spent on this site so have become a member. ( been on the site today for 3 hours from the morning and getting pulled up from family). Will log off now to be back on soon. Hope to enjoy being a part of the community.
Drive safe.

P.S. I love to experiment with different driving styles. You would be amazed that I was able to clock 18.6 kmpl on my city manual petrol which is higher than what the company claims. The picture shows 18.1 kmpl though.(it came down due to idling at toll booth) on my way back.

Hey Shashank, welcome to the forum

Hope to see you share your experiences on various places you've visited (there are several nice places in and around Pune and Mumbai too and hope you've been to many of them) and also about your ownership experiences with both the Ritz and the Honda City, especially the driving techniques followed to improve fuel efficiency

Do take a look at the forum rules as well to familiarize yourself, wishing you a pleasant stay here.
