hello everyone! - Team-BHP

Hi everyone! This is planet_rocker! My real name is Sumantra Sen, but all of you can call me Surya. I am working with Gujrat Ambuja Cements Ltd, in kolkata as an Executive (planning cell).
I am 26. Since I am in here cars, driving, car modz my interests.
I will try not to drag on this.

I own a 1988 Premier Padmini and my dad owns a M800(soon to be changed). I came to know about this forum when I was looking for headers and mufflers for my car (review on automech performance exhaust). I was like so much thrilled to see so that all I wanted to know were in here. Great job guys!

Currently my car is fitted with a custom made free-flow muffler (a glass pack) - (straight thru) and I just love the way she sounds. But rite now I have some one else’s car to look forward to. The car is a 1968 Fiat 1100D owned by 1100D and his “who’s baby I am” is fitted with a straight thru but she has got some…I mean some awesome exhaust not. Perhaps the best in Kolkata.

The best part was when we, 1100D and I went for a back to back drive and believe me guys his car went like a jet in front of my car.
The worst part is that there are no active T-BHP members in kolkata other than 1100D and me and another guy (sorry I forgot his name) and me. Secondly, no T-BHP meet in kolkata. Its not that people in kolkata don’t love cars or do mod jobs…

Keeping that aside this is the best place to be for all people who have a passion for cars and mods. I wish you guys 3 cheers for coming up with this kind of forum.

Hey Planet Rocker, welcome to Team BHP; Kolkata seems to be the only place where you still hear of Fiat 1100Ds - ask me, I have one there too which is now with a friend of mine and on the verge of being junked since he cannot afford to use it any longer thanks to the FE! She's a 1967 vintage with headers and a free flow, used to scorch the road in her prime (though years ago!)....miss her sometimes as I'd learnt how to drive on that car years & years ago.

I would think three or four members would be enough for a meet, at least a "daru & meat" one or don't Cal guys drink any longer

! Speaking of which, I'm gonna be in Cal at the end of December so who knows....maybe could meet up with you guys if anyone's interested. I think the "another guy" you're talking about is Shuvc.

Look around for Shuvc's posts, he's very much from Cal AFAIK - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/members/shuvc.html
