Hello - Team-BHP

Hello Team,

I am a new member to Team BHP..I am really amazed by the amout of knowledge that I can gain being a part of the team.

I recently purchased an Exteem VXI..It has run 1300 kms now. I am planning to go for a long drive to Thissur, from bangalore. I have completed my first service in Solar Automobiles in bangalore. I wanted to know if there are any precautions / checks that i have to do before I leave for the long drive?? Thanks in advance.

And after you start, pray for your shocks, rim and tyres when you cover Krishnagiri- Dharmapuri and Valayar.

Congrats on your car..

I am also a fan of Esteem...It is a reliable workhorse, no pretensions , just does what it is supposed to do , well.

After a fantastic 60,000 kms with a MPFI esteem , now have an esteem diesel.. ( Running cost - 2.1 rs / km , less than that of my Bullet 500 ! )

As a city runabout it has few competitors IMO

well you have had your 1st service and the car is brand new..so its just the basic's you gotta check...tire pressure,your back up tire just as a precaution check your cars liquids...and i guess thats about it...its a new car man..have no fear..

try taking the bangalore-bhavani-coimbatore route .. passing by mettur dam on your way if you are driving durnig the day time .. roads are better .. less traffic and nice views as well ..

am sure you will find all that you need to know and more on the site .. have a nice time .. btw enjoy your drive down to Kerala ..
