Default Hello From Tokyo

Hi All

I am of Punjabi origin, born in the UK but have lived in Japan for several years. I love this site, I have learnt a lot about the Indian car scene!

I love all cars but have been driving 911's for some years. The current one is a 997. I only buy new and I change it every two years at the most.

I have driven nearly everything I like, Aston AMV8, DB9, Lamborghini Gallardo , Ferrari's, Maserati's etc etc

My favourite is my car - 997.

All the best!

Yeah, thats me in the Gallardo, I had it for a test drive for while. Great car but I can't afford to have several cars (its very expensive to get a parking spot here) so I will stick just having my 997 for the moment. If I could have two cars though - I would take the Gallardo and the 997.

My current drive is a the 997 you see above.

@porky... did you buy the car @tokyo? because from the pics both the rides seem to left hand drive-s (L.H.D-s). AFAIK - in tokyo most of the rides are R.H.D-s like in India.

anyways welcome to team BHP. enjoy your stay here. take care and drive safe!

Hi Planet Rocker, the car is an official Porsche japan import. Believe it or not, 90% of sports cars / exotics in japan are LHD.

I had a 996 RHD in Japan before (RHD are available but only with tiptronic) manual transmission is only available in LHD ar the moment unless you wait one year or so for a special order! Very stupid the damn japs - they think LHD is cooler!! I can drive both but would prefer RHD.
