bikes & more bikes - Team-BHP

Hi Guys,

I have been lonely online for a long time now, not knowing where to sate my automobile hunger. There used to be a site called Zatang which hosted anything and everything and I was the CZAR for vintage & classic bikes out there. Used to be fun, lot of interaction, queries and new friends. Just chanced upon BHP and life is back in Top Gear again. To have an exclusive forum on Vintage & Classic is the most distinct feature.

Bikes have been a passion always. Having owned almost all the marques which have existed in the history of motorcycling ( wish I could add a Brough Superior/ Vincent Black Shadow to that list ) in a short span of 40 years has been no mean achievement. As my name suggests - DOMINATOR - I am a big Dommi fan and Nortons remain my favourite. Have owned some cars, but nothing fancy.

My most thrilling experience has been driving a Jaguar E Type at a drag meet and at present being associated with making Indias fastest car - 1000 bhp, which unfortunately I am not supposed to disclose because of a confidentiality clause.

Look forward to discussing and learning more about bikes.

The Jag is still very much around in Bangalore. Belongs to a very dear friend of mine. Infact, there are 2 E Types in Bangalore

Didn't know there were 2. One black one is part of a large collection. Is that your friend's?

Yup Black Bird !! I always have requests from friends to drive their cars. Cant resist the temptation of driving them. Being on the committee of the Club makes it more difficult as I have to do the running around. Will surely get her out at the next BIG event.

Both are black. The one I drive is part of my friends huge collection. The other car is rarely taken out. The one I drove at the drag is a 3.8 roadster and the other car is 2+2 coupe. The coupe used to be parked at Cambridge layout but has since moved out. Its still around in Whitefield

Well, I guess we're both talking about the 3.8 roadster. That's a beautiful car, as is the rest of his collection.
