Lets start with a wheel spin - Team-BHP

Hi everybody,
This is vrooooooom (a.k.a. Vicky). I am a software developer by profession and lover boy by nature. Born and brought up in Kolkata. Right now working in one of the Big 4 consulting firms.
I own a Indica (Petrol) for the last 3.5 years. Had been driving an Accord 2.2 Coupe for the last one year (really upset after selling it).Right now I am looking for a old Vtec/Lancer.
Though I am not very knowledgeable about tuning and modding like many
of you, but I am doing my homework. Driving is my passion. Even if I am too upset, but have the steering wheel in my hand and could hear the engine vroooooom, I am in a different world where I am the GOD.
One big problem with my driving is I cant stand anyone gushing past me when I am driving. I would do everything to wipe him out of my rear view mirror

. Its not that I will always succeed but I still go for it.
Only exception to the above rule is my dear friend (a.k.a. Black Pearl in the forum), whom I respect a lot. It is because of him that I started flying low and not driving fast. He is an awesome driver.

But as we say Indian roads are not race tracks. So please drive safely and responsibly. There are many loved ones waiting for you at home.

welcome to Team BHP man! i know this guys since i was in class 6 IIRC.

pretty nice guy - i had no idea that he loves speeding so much

@ vicky - you are the 5th Pointer in this forum and that too same batch - but different sections. the 5 pointers include: planet_rocker, shuvd, BlackPearl, nikunj_cal and you.

i am sure you will have a great time here.

how about modding your indica? lets say - a FFE for more Vrrrooom! not joking re.

@ vicky - AFAIK - there are two OHC vtecs for sale in Cal. Windsor Honda has one and there is another modded vtec for sale @ the second hand car dealer near Hazra rd & Sarat Bose rd intersection.

don't get too personal with overtaking (I know you are sane driver)....
I have met Black Pearl and is very friendly. He took some basic lessons on turboing!! (i am no master though). Welcome to the forum.

Thanks a lot Rocker for the info....I will rush to Windsor first on Monday. The modded Vtec would be my 2nd option. I prefer modding it myself. I am looking for a OHC thats in a decent condition.Wont be worried if it has lot of miles on it. I had seen Vtec with 250k miles on it but in an awesome condition. Though those were on different type of roads. I just need the engine and suspension in a good condition. Rest can be managed I presume.
Don't worry. I will get more car crazy Pointers in the forum. There are many motor lovers in Kol and would love to join the forum.

@kutlee - Don't worry. I dont take it personal everytime. I was planning to go with Black Pearl to Hyderabad. But didnt get a break from my work. Seems now I have to take some Knowledge Transfer from Pearl. But would definitely look forward to meet you in near future.
