Default Yipeee... I am not alone !!!

People always thought i was totally crazy when
  • The car bumped in a pot hole and I felt bad for the car than my head which hit the roof.
  • I said the best place to listen to some great music is my car and not my home theater system.
  • I talked about buying an old jeep or a second hand contesa classic instead of a new maruti 800.
  • I was unconcerned about the destination as long as I was allowed to drive.
I was really convinced that i might really be crazy to feel that way and then i discovered team bhp and i realized that Yes, I am totally crazy but I am not alone. Here I see people for whom their cars are more than a vehicle but a passion, who have ICE in their car the price for which is more than the car itself, people who prefer their Jeep over their Mercs and for whom life is rocking when the odo is clocking .

I knew from day one that I will love to be a part of this place.

Now a lil bit about me. I am Akshat Goyal, a graduate in Aerospace engg who got greedy and became an analyst, got greedy still but also bored so jumped into family business and now lighting our highways with a plant for manufacturing High Pressure Lamps. Love cars but knew little about them till I started reading this forum. I own an ikon and love it to pieces. I have been taking tips from the various forums and now on a mission to revamp my car with new ICE and alloys.

Thanks to all you guys I have touched new heights of craziness and enjoying every bit of it.

Akshat

Fab intro that Akshat. You are indeed not alone. True that, life is rocking when the odo is clocking. I know exactly what you mean by that.

Welcome aboard and hope you have a nice stay here. By the way, is your Ikon a 1.6 or 1.3 or 1.8D?

Thanks a lot for the support guys !!! I have been spending hours reading the forum for the past one month and it has been really informative and a lot of fun. Last week went to buy a pio 2950 for a friend and the dealer said 4500 bucks. I enlightened by t-bhp gave him my "Oh Really" smile and his next quote was 500 bucks lower .

@BalckPearl my Ikon is 1.3 Flair.

@GTO yep we are doing a part of it.

Yes I would love to attend a t-bhp meet sometime soon. It would be great to be in the company of the Gurus.

I just got my toursit VISA to US rejected and now plan to blow a part of my savings thus saved on accessories for my car. Hope you all will help me blow it well and blow it good
