Thumbs up Another automotive nut from B'lore

Dear Friends,

I am from Banagalore. Basically an automobile engr. Work in IT industry past 7 years...

I am an automobile enthusiast since my college days... i always keep myself updated about latest trends/news about automoive industry.. Was searching a lot on the net for some forum...

Stopped at Team-BHP, one of the best forums i have seen until now.. Like to be part of it.. will actively contribute from my side whatever is best possible.

In my college days we have been experiementing lot on different engine designs.. In fact we have converted a 2-Stroke engine to a 4-stroke engine with better mileage, hp, torque... Was an interesting work i have ever done till now...

My dream is to design a car of my own in coming future...its gonna happen in less than 5 years..

Currently own an Ikon since 3 years...

Hi Hemant! welcome to TBHP. I am sure you would find some time to contribute in enhancing knowledge of people like me who are non-techies. Impressed to read about your work on the engine. Are you planning to work or working on any any engine. Please, tell me which engine out of the currect stocks you love the most. I heard that current Cedia( Mitsubishi) engine is the most favourite among tuners. Whats your take.

Hi Hemant, welcome aboard.
Ikon owner, eh? We have quite a lot of them here, and do post your experiences.

IT industry since 7 years is like quite a long time, right?

Hi Buddy,

Thanks for the warm welcome from all the TBHP members. I read thru your posting ...impressed.. Glad to see someone(other than me)..who is freek of cars..especially Josh Machine...

As i read thru, it felt like my own story of owning Josh way back in Nov,2005... Check out my review at Mouthshut.com Review on Ford Ikon Flair by hemantbsutar - MouthShut.com

Well 7 years in IT industry is not a big deal.... I did not do anything for it..just stayed IN..

Hi Shatrugna,

Thanks. Well, as of now i am not doing anything on any engine... We have lot of plans which will get definitely materialized soon.. We are bunch of automobile engrs (from the same college) looking forward to build a great career in Automotive.. thats our real passion to work in Automotive sector and contribute something to the Indian Automotive Industry... Am sure this TBHP will be my biggest support for the goal i have set...

As far as tuning of engine is concerned, i do not have any idea...
