Default Hello Folks....

This is Parag here from Pune. I came to know of the site through a friend...who could not stop talking about it. So I thought of checking for myself... this is quite woenderful site.

To start of conversation, I drive a Skoda Octavia 20v turbo TPI. I got my Skoda fitted with the Skoda RS Spec wheel/tyres ( Spider alloys, with 205-55 R16 Michellin Energy tyres). But I have a feeling that the Steering is a bit heavy something like the steering on those video racing games. Can changing of wheels have this effect ? or is there something more here.

Congratulations on the TPi; for someone who wants the most bang for the buck, its a steal in comparison to the RS. Yes, wider rubber will lead to a slightly stiffer steering + ride.

Parag, looks like your query will get the required attention and response if you post it in the right section (tyres and alloys, may be).

You can create a new thread if none exists. I am sure there are many 1.8 TPI (Rider) owners here who should know.
