Hi from DUbai - Team-BHP

I am Shahid Ahmad, 40, Indian but resident in Dubai.

I love cars of course but more 4x4 vehicles and SUVs. We have off road clubs here and we go to the desert and mountains every weekend ( Friday and Saturday- our weekends ).

Vehicles I own currently.

City Use

Toyota Landcruiser VXR 4700 cc V8

Off Road Use

Toyota Landcruiser Prado 3400 cc V6
Short Wheel Base, 2 Door modified with Olad Man Emu Suspension, K & N Intake and FOX exaust Cut back system for starters.

DOne over 400 off road events.

Current sponsors for my off road events.
Toyota
Dunlop Tyres
Total Lubricants
Sony Ericcson

In 2007 I launched for Toyota the new FJ Cruiser and the 2008 model new Landcruser 200 in GXR, VXR and Diesel.

Welcome to Team BHP, Shahid Ahmed. I was a bit taken aback by the handle since there is another Desert fox on the forum who is a good friend of mine.

Great intro there and do tell us more about this offroad club of yours. I might take the plunge with the FJ soon.

Welcome on board Shahid. I was also confused same like Steeroid.

Nice to see a real offroading guy here. I'm also a big fan of Landcruisers. We have a Prado in India and a Landcruiser VX100 in Dubai.

Have a nice time here. Will definitely look forward to more and more valuable posts from you.

FJ cruiser is a veru interesting and capable vehicle with the same 1GRFE engine as the Indian Prado 4000 cc V6.

Undertuned to 239 BHP. Tyres are 265/ 75 R 16.

A great off road performer and a good city ride.

Now the new Landcruiser GXR 200 also comes with the same engine and same tuning. Prado with this engine is supertuned to 262 BHP.

If you want any specific details of the FJC let me know I will e mail an article I had written on it. Pasting it from the MS word file is not working here.
