| Hallo everyone, Surprise surprise. There is a lady in the house. I’ve heard so much about this Forum from The Yeti® that I had to come see what the fuss is about. I read on the travelogue that a few people wanted to hear my point of view, so I thought I’d sign up. Also I’d like to correct a few things that he’s told you. ![]() But before we come to that, let me give you the details about me that Sam hasn’t given you yet. I live in Heilbronn, a boring little town in the South of Germany, where I work in the Marketing department of Harman International, parent company of the brands harman/kardon, JBL, Infinity, AKG and many more. So no prizes for guessing how I met Sam. I heard it’s part of the rules to tell you about my car (damn it). I drive a 2001 Opel Corsa 2 door hatchback. Not fast enough, even though I like driving really quick. A bad sound system even though I like listening to music while driving. Too small even though I like carrying half the world in my car. But maybe I shouldn’t complain too much because so far my car has taken me everywhere I have wanted to go. For anyone interested in how it looks you can go here: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...t-dec2007.html (A YetiHoliday® - Christmas in Bavaria (repost from Dec2007)) I have been to many places around the world and I am really looking forward to come to India very soon. I guess all of you already know why I’m coming. ![]() I have been warned repeatedly that Indian traffic is nothing like German traffic. I have been also warned that no matter what I have experienced so far nothing can prepare me for India. I have no clue what to expect as I have never been to Asia before. I hope I can survive as I cannot eat anything spicy. German food is generally plain with a lot of meat and potatoes (yuck!) and the spices we use most often are salt and pepper. I look forward to sharing my first-hand experiences with you on this forum. See you around!

| Senior - BHPian | Hello, o One. Welcome to our slice of madness. Forget India, Mumbai is an experience and concept that even other Indians find hard to grasp. And you'll be interested to know that Sam spent the last weekend watching people just trying to increase their speed, so to speak. Don't worry, the food's great!

Ha Ha Ha, when we order spices, we generally get salt and pepper as complimentary!(Joking) Had the statement come from someone from our country, it would have gone like "....and the spices we use most often are red chilly, coriander, turmeric, cumin..posh..."

| Distinguished - BHPian ![]() | Ha ha ha. She knows I hate driving. Normally she drives and I change the music and that's the way it's going to be lol Anyways, you guys may be interested to know that TheOne® will have her first driving experience in India in a few weeks. It is my intention to ask her to drive from Bombay to Pune. That will be fun and a bit familiar to someone that lives on Autobahns. She has driven RH cars before so this should be alright. Gut ja? Edit: Wow! Du bist sehr populär Schatz.
