| Hello all, Call me arjyamaj, or AJ if you like. I'm 25, live in Delhi and am a corporate lawyer (no I dont go to court and I dont say tareekh pe tareekh!) After much deliberation between an second hand 'old' zen, a santro and an alto, I finally fixed upon the Alto- being a sensible choice I guess. My baby (Rani Laxmibai, as was christened) is white, an lxi and has been giving me company for the last 6 months now. Previously I had learnt driving on my Dad's Mark II Amby (Gajendra), then we had an M800 (didnt name this one) and a Maruti Zen AT (Dhanno). I stumbled across Team-BHP purely by accident. I noticed seeing an alto 1.1 L on the roads and I know that mine is a 796cc. So I started to think about how I could modify the car- swap the engine. One google search led to another and the rest, as they say, is history. I love driving, especially on delhi roads (sans the maniacs, thank you). I also love mountaineering and traveling in general, one of the main reasons for coming to Delhi (originally from Cal). I'm looking for quiet weekend getaways- so far have been to Agra, Neemrana, Sultanpur and Corbett in the last 6 months- all in my Alto! Future plans include Kasauli, Leh, Wagah, Nainital and plenty more. I'm also a bit of a hypermiler (Fuel economy-maximizing behaviors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) and get about 16-17 kmpl in city traffic with the ac on! Beat that if you can! Wonderful to be here... and looking forward to this journey. arjyamaj
