Default why walk when you drive?

hello

after months visiting this site, i'm finally a member!

im 20 (damn, 19 sounds so much cooler), studying...not too much...in bangalore...

for as long as i can remember, ive been obsessed with automobiles...my first memories of toys are cars, and my first car was a lamborghini countach lp400 (matchbox dinky!)

love driving...just for the fun of it...my parents think im insane when i say i dont need any music, the engine'll do...

i can find pleasure in an m800, but i'd prefer a vtec!

have owned m800s, premier padminis, an NE, carb esteems, a honda city 1.5, a baleno

currently driving a santro, waiting for the swift.

favourite cars...dodge viper....any marcello gandini or bertone designed car (murcielago miura countach etc) honda city and the vtec!...and i like my santro!

what else do i say...

oh yeah .... LAMBOS RULE!

I thought they're two different brands.

rudra...

how did i almost die? well, let me just say that street racing is NOT the best way to prove you're quicker than someone...esp if you dont have ABS...

im not sure what you mean about models...the countach's first version was designated the lp400, if im not mistaken. matchbox is one of the more reputed dinky car makers...they were made in macau, if i remember correctly. great detailing, right down to the alloys!

Matchbox and Dinky are two different companies.
Matchbox lasted longer than Dinky. They're still there in the market. Dinky became a generic description for any miniature car model.
Point in case is Xerox for any photocopier and Walkman for any portable cassette player.

Yeah do post about the incident... specially if there is a lesson in it that the wannabe racers can learn about the price of life.

see...i can't call my self lambo (i think there's already someone) and i love so many lambos that its hard to pick one (more like impossible)

but iv only ever liked 4 american cars...or maybe five
the shelby cobra (hardly american, but still)
the mustang fastback
the corvette stingray ('60s i think)
the dodge charger

and my favourite has gotta be the dodge viper...500 bhp rwd...that thing will blow the doors off a 'vette...what a car!

so thats the story!
