Introduction

Hi.
Sorry for replying so late. I was out of town and I prefer to reply this kind of activities from home.
A few words about me as you guys have asked for.
A 45 years of advertising professional with 23 years of experience.
Amongst the brand handled, my favourite is Diamler Chrysler.
All you car maniacs if remember the Mercedes brand campaign with old
and new cars? Had a real good time creating them.
Now the cars I drive.. An awful mix of a 1959 Ambassador (heart transplant
happened years ago with petrol Isuzu 1.8), a 1984 Maruti and a less then a month old Chevrolet Optra LT.
An Apple Macintosh maniac. Heavily into digital art. Photography (still with conventional film camera). Music (jazz, soundtracks and anything under the sun except
rap, discos and remixes)
Anything further, just ask.

Great to have you aboard . Well you seem to be one of people still have the good ol Amby. The other I know of in the forum is Aditya who has a Mark 3.

welcome to team bhp! looks like there are a lot of people here who share your interest for cars as well as digital art! (not sure about macs though im a big PC fan...
but ah..i am a big merc fan!.....

Heres another chalk up for a Mercedes-Benz fan! Thats a pretty diverse garage you have there, with an Optra, a '59 Amby and the ubiquitous 800 in there. Any family sentiments with the Ambassador?

hey rudra, great to have you here. how did you hear about the site?
great mix of cars, i used to own an Amby way long back, used to be a Mk 2, never once broke down, even though somebody i know did manage to drive it into a sewer. got it back out and still took us home.

Your Mk 2 never broke down because there's nothing to break down in that car. That's the great part of Amby. You look after them well they'll give you loooong service.

Only sentiment is that I paid 20000 of my photography assignments earning to get that car way back in 84.
Also it's probably the only black Amby on Bangalore road with 13'' wheels and 185/70 Goodyear Eagle

welcome to the syndicate rudra sen ! so which company do u work. hey man i am great fan of advertising media manily cause ,my gf is into it.i mean my ex..but htats a long one! the cannes r coming up so u r company sending entries or what?? so with which company did u do the old merc ads with.

man i htink prasoon joshi and prahald kakkar r the best yo. also the dude whos if the head of o&M india...i dont know his name .he won the gold or silver for the fevicol ad. anyways do u actually have the black book of ads !!! i heard its the bible where u guys get ur ideas from
remeebr the indica ad..( more car per car) well it was copied by them.. it was orginal volvo ad back in the day.
nice cars u have there. we have amby nova also. mainly used to make grocery run and for all the rubber and coconut runs the servants make.
optra a nice choice.. comfy and economical looks like a million dollars...!!
