Default Hello from Bangalore

Hi guys, I was actually a bit hesitant in doing this intro, since I did not want to put in two lines just for the sake of doing so.(and hence the delay in posting this). Then I had an afterthought - I have been surfing this site for some time now and have recently started putting in some posts. And it seems to me, that I like this forum and it will grow on to become some small part of my life. It then makes sense to come out in the open and say something now about myself.

Well, I am your typical Btech/MBA, doing middle mgt in an MNC, 30+, happily married with a kid. The first car I owned was a Ford Escort - car of my college dreams( did I hear someone say that this should be a gift to your worst enemy?). Jokes apart, it was a great car to own, if albeit expensive to maintain! The other cars I have owned are a Tata Indigo,Alto and recently purchased a Hyundai i10 for my parents. I am also on the lookout for a car in the 10 L range for myself( have started a thread on that here!).

The search has been on for a few months now ,during which time,my mind has taken 360 degree turns every few weeks. After countless drives and rethinks, I am yet to finalise. My search has stopped dead in the tracks because of the impending launches of the Fiat Linea and 3 GC Honda City. Thanks once again to the folks who have provided inputs and continue to do so.
On the personal front, I love music - retro western , Bollywood and Ghazals(I worship Ghulam Ali!). I also love playing badminton and cricket and still retain an active interest in these sports.

I congratulate the creators of this website for creating and maintaining something on this scale.
Looking forward to a long stint here! Cheers!

well a late welcome sridharps, but anyway better late than never.
once upon a time i was hell bent on going in for escort , fortunately luck kept me away. but i wasnt so lucky when i dreamt of cielo.
10l range , now has some good choices, but as u pointed out waiting for some more time is wise. maybe the new hc gets your pulse racing.
