| Hi all! I was on youtube watching videos about cars when I saw a link to the BHP website. At first I thought "there's no way they have a club over there!" - well, here it is ... a large community at that! I'm a 22 year old student from Ontario Canada. I've been around the car scene since I was a young boy - my neighbour had a couple muscle cars which I saw transform as I grew older (i.e., 67 firebird). I drive a 1997 Chevrolet Malibu. It's not the fastest or best-looking car out there, but it meets my needs. Infact, in Canada and the US, the Malibu is considered a "grandma" car to get groceries! I saw a possibility in the car and wanted to change opinions so I went ahead and added a few modifications. Here are a couple things I have done: Engine swap to a '99 2.4 LD9 - new cams, gears, headers, intake, ect. Suspension swap to KYB GR2 struts with Sprint lowering springs. Exhaust swap to 2.5" stainless pipeing finished with duel-tip Magnaflow muffler. Wheels: 19" Racing Harts with Nitto tires. There are other more 'milder' modifications like stereo, interior, lighting ect which have been transformed aswell. Overall, the car is a little faster, looks much better, and handles great over the OEM version. I will be coming to India in the near future. Both my parents are Indian (Gujarat natives) and I have never been. So I'll be sure to keep on visiting the site and keep updated on the latest BHP news. Hopefully when I come I'll be able to come and check out the club and meet a couple members. Happy riding! ![]() |

| Thanks for the warm reply. Here is a picture of the Malibu from a few months ago. It's currently snowing here in Canada, so a few of the modifications have been taken off for Winter and replaced with OEM parts (i.e., rims, lights ect). |
