Introducing myself from Hyderabad
My name is Krishnan Sakotai, middle aged (on the wrong side of the "middle"), from Hyderabad. I bumped into Team-BHP during one of my googling sessions, searching for car reviews.
We lived in the US for 15 years, where we owned a Honda Civic coupe sports model, a Nissan Sentra and a Toyota Sienna minivan (cant you see how my life progressed ). We returned to India in 2003 and immediately bought a Toyota Qualis sight unseen. The reason is, I and my wife believe that had it not for the Toyota, we would not have been alive after a car crash on a blistering snowy morning in New Hampshire.
Our Qualis is a Petrol version - I have heard the sneers and people's head shakes many a time! Inspite of the big hole the petrol cost is burning in our pocket, we love the Qualis and do not want to part with it. My hope is to soup it up on the exterior and interior some day.
Our other most recent car (all of 2 days ago) is the Chevy Spark LT. It is a great city car, small, compact and yet peppy. I will post pictures and experience in the appropriate thread. I thank all the moderators and other members for sharing their thoughts and experience that has enriched my knowledge.
see you all in the threads

You seem to be Jap car fan too. Nothing beats Japanese cars in terms od reliability and cost of ownership. The Qualis may not look all that great but it is one hell of a workhorse and congratulations on your new Spark. How about a long term review of your Qualis with pictures . It would be a first on the forum. While you are at it, take some time to go through the rules section.
Welcome to Team BHP
