Talking Hia

Hello
Well..I am Junaid, born and brought up in Calcutta. Staying in Bangalore since last 3 yrs. I work as a Search Engineer in an India-based Search Engine start-up. I never owned or driven any car in my life but that revving sound was always there in the back of my mind. Well.. I am ready to buy my first car now(used, though ). I am too delighted about it.
I dream about owning all kinds of RR Phantoms, Dodge Vipers and Maseratis and it remains to be one my prime motivation to work(otherwise I would just wander around in Himalayas or Europe).
Other than that I am too much into movies and hope to contribute towards film-making process one day.
Well, I am also a megalomaniac, that's another thing about me

See you around.
Do remember "All those who wander are not always lost".
-J

Ikon - Hmm well are you sure about your decision? Not trying to confuse you but go for a more reliable car maybe a Baleno or a Accent. ( Just a suggestion )

Thanks for your input. I agree about the reliability part; but this is my logic(consider it from the point of view 2nd hand cars):
My Budget ~3Lacs. My options
2007 Ikon Flair,<25K Km in 3.2Lacs
2005 Accent ~40-50K km in 3Lacs.
So, for similar model-cars, 2-yr old car is very likely to be a good catch than a 4-yr old car(considering the used car market)
And personally I feel:
[1] Accent looks are Uncle types[Ikon: Accent = Pulsar:Unicorn in bikes]
[2] Baleno: I am not a big fan of Maruti cars and Baleno is out of production.
[3] Ikon Flair has the max mile-age among the above 3
[4] Was considering Lancer, but available ones are pretty old and I don't want increase my risk by taking a very old car.

And hence my choice. Your inputs are heartily welcome.
