Default Dinesh from BMW, Hyderabad

Hello everyone,
Glad to join you guys. This is Dinesh. I work as Sales Consultant in Delta Cars, BMW dealer in Hyderabad. Though my attachment towards automobiles has recently kicked-off professionally, I've been an avid follower of automobiles (primarily cars) since my childhood.

I drive a Skoda Fabia TDI and planning to buy a Bull in coming weeks.

See you all in the forum. Happy Driving or should I say I enjoy the Sheer Pleasure of Driving.

Welcome Dinesh. Working with a Beemer dealership is a great privelege indeed! Your office is not far from my flat.

BTW, what is the Bull that you are buying?

Welcome aboard, Dinesh. Fun job it must be! We respect how BMW has successfully established itself as the leading luxury car brand in India, despite a late entry. I'm a self-confessed fan of the 530d (all that TORQUE!) and the new 7 series.

Do you see a lot of customers opting in on the 3 / 4 / 5 year BSI packages? As a community, we see immense value in those service / warranty packages. Is it the same for actual BMW customers?

Do take a quick pitstop by our board rules section just once; we'd appreciate that. See you over on some interesting German car discussion.

Thank you GTO. Yes of course lots of fun. Must be the same with you? You guys are doing a great job bringing all of us together.

Not many customers go for BSI. Most of them go for BMW Secure Insurance. Its true that both packages create immense value to the customers. Well the later is beneficial for everyone the former is for those who do more miles which is'nt the thing with luxury car owners.

Thank you hiren959. M3 is my dream car too. I had an opportunity to check out the car on my recent visit to the workshop. The engine roar was awesome. Its a true symphony.

We have sold around 4 M3s till date.

Generally people who have driven this car overseas show lot of interest because those are the ones who know its true abilities.

The India spec comes with 8 cylinder 4.0 liter engine. Max output 420 hp and max torque 400Nm at 3900rpm. Last but not the least 0-100 in 4.8

welcome to tbhp.
Please open a thread in the Indian car scene section so that we can bombard you with questions - this thread is gonna get locked pretty soon.
Do you know of any reason why BMW is not offering 1 series in India, when it offers all of its other models?

Thank you all,

Currently BMW India is working out plans to launch X1, I guess the 1 series follows later.
