Default Hello...

Team:

I am Anand...born in northern part of Karnataka and now live in Switzerland...shortly moving back to Bangalore.

For me, cars and bikes are not just a means to commute but an extension of myself. I started living my dream the day I started earning...I spent my first salary buying a Bull .

I have been following BHP for a long time...but became a member just recently...I look forward to be a part of this group and enjoy every moment of it.

Cheers, Anand

You bought a bull? Is there something like Bhp-bull horse power ?
Just kidding, I just got curious why would some one buy a bull with his 1st salary.

Welcome Anand!

So what will you be driving when you return to Bangalore? And which part of North Karnataka?

Thanks Jayant,

We are a joint family (5 including my son)...earlier i had Santro back home, which was pretty good except when all of us traveled. I am thinking of Scorpio SLE.

BTW, I am from Koppal but lived most of the time in Raichur.

Cheers, Anand

Hello Sree, hello Kalinga...

thank you...

no, I dont have the bullet with me now. I had two models, 1980 (black) and 1952 (modified and painted to silver and maroon), before moving, I had to dispose them (what a shame). Same with my Santro (black). Currently, I dont own anything.

I plan to buy a Scorpio when I move (my wife is against it, will have to do lot of convincing) . After a couple of months, Bullet classic. (not decided on whether 350 or 500). I love the retro style of classic but I am used to reverse side gear/brake, I think the classic comes with the mainstream operations.

In Switzerland, no, I don't own any car, I enjoy trains rides, they are well connected and efficient. So sorry, I cannot share any experience of snow driving...but skiing (but this is not the right forum for that).

cheers, anand
