Hi to all the members of team bhp

My name is Rohit and i am 20 years old living in mumbai since 1992 I am doing engineering in information technology..(donno how did i end up taking that field)

I am an auto freak since i was born...the first dream car i had was a red maruti 800...but now i am driving a 2001 huyndai santro LE...nothing much in that car just a nice sounding music player and with 60k on the odo..(wen my mom handed me the car it had just 20k...2 years of OFFICIAL driving and 40k!)

I was searching for a santro performance on google and found this beautiful community and didnt waste any time to get registered

sorry for my intro being too long...

about my car audio setup...ive got the following stuff

1)Head unit ...Pioneer De-h-8450mp
2)JBL 400 watts spkrs(forgot the model number)
3)Sony XS-L 121-P5 woofer(12 inch)
4)Sony 444 amp
5)sum 100 watts pioneer speakers in the space provided (dashboard)
6)Local tweeters(lol....150 a pair!!working fine)

thats about it...the woofer is enclosed and provides deep bass....
but still needs more power....was planning to buy another sony 444 amplifier but the car is getting older and older....so may be next year or so i'll be getting new set of wheels.....umm basically i am waiting for the diesel versions of getz or swift.....as both the manufacturers are planning to introduce common rail diesel versions soon ...so i think it will be worth the wait......

and pics i'll post them as soon as possible

thanks rudra...mugen...agp and sid_schumi...(sorry bro..4got 2 add ur name in my previous post)......4 da warm welcome...

about 8450 HU....i stay in ghatkopar.....i bought it from a shop in ghatkopar for 19k(without bill).....but i had a few problems with the double panel....once there was some problem with the gear mechanism of the outer panel....i had 2 shell out 500 bucks for changing the gears....the guy told me this model has some problems with the mechanism of the motorised panels..he also said that he sold 5-6 of those 8450 HU's and all of them had the same problem...so my suggestion would be dont go for the double panel models....and i think the 8450 is discontinued and there is 9450 ...its almost the same but the mechanism is much better than 8450..../and ya the OEL display is cool ...mine has blue colour only....but this 9450 has coloured OEL...its nicer but would be a bit heavier on the pocket too..
