Thats a wonderful car you have vijay.

I plan to gift my dad a pre owned corolla sometime and i was thinking of U trust for that.

Personally i like the BACK BENCH of the Old Camry which you own but mileage is a fear factor !

Can you also give us some detail on how long you own this car and whats the service costs are like?

Let me know when you want a used Corolla, will get some good deals with U-trust.

Old Camry has a wonderful seats (both in front as well as rear), I get 10 KMPL which i consider as a very good mileage for a car of that size and power
I am owning this car for past 6 months and I am yet to give it to service. Service costs will be nominal however spare costs will be on higher side.

That's some serious depreciation there. I assume a new Camry in 2004 would have costed 18-20 lakhs. So, in 6 years it has depreciated to 1/3rd of its price or more.

I guess it is the "Vanakkam" part. That was what got my attention to this thread. Sort of reminded me of the "Vanakkam, Chennai. Naan Kamal Haasan pesukiren" that one hears on an FM channel.

Well in India, Corolla and Camry have very low resale value albeit they are largest selling car in the world. And more over people in India wont spend much money on a pre-owned car, that would also be a reason for low price.

I have a very close attachment towards my mother tongue Tamil and due to which i thought i would first start the thread with a Tamil word and so it started. You should actually here closely to those words of Kamal Haasan in 98.3 FM it was entirely in Tamil(Even the FM part). He is simply the best

Hi Vijay,

Does U-Trust deal only in high end cars or all ranges? My friend who lives in Chennai is looking for good 2nd hand car (not the camrys of course ).

If they deal with all cars, then I need your help for sure to strike a deal
