Default Hello!

Hello Everyone,

I am a biker more than anything else, going as far as to judge cars and their existence. That probably sounds ironic after joining a Forum famous for 4 wheeled aficionados but I believe one shouldn't dislike something without knowing it in and out, so here goes

perhaps some of the more knowledgable folk here can lend some education my way and help me appreciate the tin cans more!!! (although it would be unfair to say that I haven't had my moments with cars, they have their uses, limited as they may be.)

What brought me here? My hunt for a ZX12R

What do I do? Just your average 9-5 existence waiting for the grim reaper to kick in someday like everyone else, Details are hardly important.

What I like about this place? Once the red tape of rules and disciplining is through, there's a lot of fun and camaraderie that one witnesses and would like to share with.

Apart from sucking at introductions I am also averse to socialising and have gone from a social animal to an introverted toad (yes, toad, most toads I've known are rather introverted) who prefers the safe environs of his helmet and kishore kumar or bruce dickinson on the stereo.

For those who havent heard it before, or for those who have heard it somewhere and may recall - As the saying goes, Save a Samurai...Ride a Ninja

Welcome DevilsOwn to T-BHP family. You seem to have gone through the rules section on the forum many times Also that is very wide repertoire of music on the stereo.

So what is your ride these days or should we assume that it is a Ninja based on your last comment?

The "Grim Reaper" owns 5 Enfields, 4 of them are usually in the shop at any given time, awaiting repair.....but he's smiling and not grim at all. He is also a Team-BHPer.

I went from motorcycles to four wheel drive vehicles after an unseen oil slick dropped me off the low side coming out of a curve....I watched my cycle cartwheel down the street shedding expensive parts as it crashed into curbs, trees, power poles, goats, stoats...etc and what was left of it ended up off road in a corn field. I took this as a sign from God, added another set of wheels and got interested in 4 wheel drive off road vehicles. Check out the 4x4 off-roading threads sometime. There is a large Bangy contingent.

There are some amphibians there, too.

Thanks Amit! I have gone through the rules section once and while am an advocate for complete freedom of speech (something I used to apply at another forum where I am a moderator, barely get time to visit anymore) my heart does go out to the Mods because its a thankless job keeping overflowing emotions and bad habits (such as sms lingo) in check.

The repertoire of music is something I keep to the bare minimum, maybe a Jimmy Page and Axl Rose once in a while, or Van Halen for that matter. The only constant is KK!

Sadly, I dont have my Ninja with me anymore. I drive a car these days but shall be back to biking shortly Once I find the right ZX12R

Dirty Dan - I havent had the pleasure of meeting "Grim Reaper", although 5 enfields does sound promising. Am sure he wouldnt mind it awaiting repairs, I've owned a few myself and the 10 days a month that they DID work, they put a smile on my face, and in Bangalore traffic, that's worth its weight in gold!

Sorry about your crash, must've hurt. Am sure the switch to the extra set of wheels has done a lot of good apart from a different kind of fun.

Shall check out the 4x4 section, I know Bangy has a large following. Although I would still prefer my off roading on a DT

Why cant you be happy with what you got for once!!

The Ninja had to go. I would never forget it though. 140mph under Dairy Circle without rear brakes. Reckless and fun!

The R1 will never ever be ready unless you forget all other bikes and dedicate some quality time to that nice nifty ride. Once its done and ready, I will steal it.

The V Max is perfect for you. Stick to it. Clean it daily. Get it painted. And then I will take you for a spin on it (for all those years of terrorising Bangloreans on road).

Akash - You here too? Good Thank you!!

Mr.AquaLeo: Whereabouts are thou?!! Some updates for you:

The Ninja had to go: Yes, sadly, however, guess what, its coming back.

The R1 is getting ready as we speak (Mr. K has the essentials with him)

The V Max is painted, chromed, and currently performing the tasks you have mentioned above on unsuspecting fair-weather SBK riders around town!

We need to meet. ASAP!

HELLO and WELCOME!!! How could I have missed the subtle references in in the other threads.

You seem to have progressed on the bike fronts.

That coffee at the Taj is not forgotten.

But man its been a long long time. I sometime peek into the other forum too.

And a VMAX for Max!!! Perfect. Can I like have a look at it sometime?

Welcome again. Seems like you have already made your way on the Bike Forum. We need you to hang around there longer.

PS: No Unimogs yet :(

he he he he I would hardly call selling a Ninja as progress (believe me, I would give my R1, VMax, Suzuki AND an RD thrown in for good measure, to get it back!! Guy doesnt want to sell )

It has been an awfully long time my friend, sure let's catch up.

Do you join TBhp meets or do you wanna do a cuppa this Sunday?

Shall hang around the bike section longer for sure, we can chitchat about Unimogs some more!!!
