Yes, the foot-rest is something the Hyundais seem to have, but most other Indian cars don't.

Thanks for all the appreciation again, guys. Stats and things, well, you can find them in any magazine now can't you!?

Yes meant Manufacturing Year/Month. Suppose verification of PDI becomes a must to know the production lot details. !!

This can be deduced from the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on the car.

Google it to figure out how to decipher the date of manufacture from your VIN.

Default Amazing comparion

Excellent post. I am in the process of finalizing Getz and happened to hit this thread. Way cool visual review. I wish we had similar comparisions done on these auto magazines . Thanks a lot buddy. Made my day in making a decision
being outside India.

Cheers
Hari

Arrow Nice comparison

It was wonderful comparsion of pics given over here...

Thats gives more clarity and vision about both the products which product wins that is completely on person specific choice as in what is admired from his point of view in a car....

But to me Swift is better one

Thanks again for the props guys. The "new" Getz is now out with minor styling revisions as well as some new engine and trim options, so that's the end of the line of this review I'm guessing!

kbk_75, maybe you could update it to a pictorial review of the new Getz and Swift, or the old Getz, new Getz and the Swift. I personally prefer the old styling of the Getz. Gave the feel and impression of being a lot bigger than it was along with exuding a sense of class and elegance. Look forward to a revival of this thread dude!

Well, apart from the fact that I'm not in India, I have no access to either of these cars atm. Maybe I'll look into it some time in the future, but it's not looking very likely at the moment, I'm afraid.

Hey no problem at all sire! Was just voicing my thoughts. Thanks for all the work you've done on this though!

Fantastic thread. This is the way to make comparisons between two cars- with pictures, rather than by words. And it is absolutely the best comparison between the two cars that I have come across anywhere.

Keep it up. And I hope we will have similar comparisons in fthis forum in fture too.
