Though the car is crossed 53K Kms, below is the short break-up on maintenance of the car till 53K Kms.

14.03.2009: 27K Kms
-Was getting some-kind of leak inside driver's foot well. It was diagnosed that clutch master cylinder is the culprit. Changed the same at Manipal Motors under extended warranty.
-Charges - only Rs 76.
Unfortunately, the Manipal Motors have replaced the clutch oil with DOT3, where as Palio requires DOT4.
-subsequently changed the clutch oil to DOT4 at another workshop Cartech, Banaswadi, Bangalore for Rs. 700.

28KKms:
Was in Hubli for a function.
The car locked out. Reason: complete fault is on myside.
Opened the hatch and kept the car key inside and closed it while the car's central locking system is locked.

So, contacted the local TATA-FIAT dealer Manickbag Automobiles, who promptly come and opened it.
How it is done, please PM me.
They did with only a long cable, screw driver:
-total charges to me is Rs. 330.00

Mean while added a plastic part inside the cabin rear-left that was part of rear left door and they call it as ornament - costed Rs 79.00 only.

The Highway run returned me around 14.5 KMPL.

28.03.2009:
4th Paid Service @ 28675 with Concorde Motors, Mysore Road, Bangalore
-Complaints:
1. Screetching noise while starting the engine
2. General service

Above complaints solved and the starter motor was overhauled under extended warrenty.

Total cost to me: Rs 3172=00 + lot of headache from dealer side.

Story for the headache:
During Coorg trip (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...eb-2008-a.html (Visit to Coorg in 9-10 Feb 2008)), had a frontal crash with 3 cows that resulted in bonnet being dent.

So unfortunately (call as I'm fortunate), some kind of liquid was fallen on the bonnet during servicing. When I went to pick up the car, saw these marks, and with a calm mind told the SA to get it repainted. The SA finally agreed to repaint the complete bonnet and the bumper. So they got the dent removed and painted completely the bonnet and the bumper. Some how they could not able to match with the original colour, which came to know only on next day.

While taking the car back from delivery observed the front grill paint was not upto the mark, so asked them to paint it back before putting a factory painted grill which I sourced from Pune BV Bhandari (Mr Ganesh Baliga of Pune helped me to procure this).

So, now I've one more piece of front grill with me painted in canary yellow (S10 color).

Decided to upgrade the engine oil to Syntehtic one @ 29300 Kms. So bought Selenia Motor K 5W40 (5 ltr for RS 2200=00 purchased from Manickbag Hubli).
The experience with this was that engine running smooth and could not find any other improvement with this apart from not changing the oil in 6 months.

Have you find any improvement now. How do you compare mineral vs synthetic for 1.6
