I am not installing the power box on my Dicor. It will first be tried out on a test mule belonging to a Dear Friend - for a reasonably long time.

I bought the Box AND a Controller for the same that allow you to set your own parameters for a price thats MUCH lower than what the box alone is sold at in India.

I did hear about from a certain mad man.. Heard that the performance results are unbelieveable.. Are you going to put the top end what the Dicor now touches yourself or do you want me to do the honor??

CREDIT SHOULD BE GIVEN WHERE DUE, THEREFORE THIS POST

During one of the previous visits to the Prerana Service Centre in Bangalore, the vehicle had come back with the LHS tail lamp cover slightly cracked. As we didnt have the time to go back and get the plastic replaced, Prerana had given us a letter to the effect that they will replace the cover OR reimburse the amount if replaced at any other TASS/TASC.

This time, the whole tail lamp was replaced by them when the vehicle went in for a software version check.

Well done, Prerana Motors!

Yes, Prerana has been very good so far. If only they had slightly better coordination between branches.

Question 'Are we all really satisfied with the product and service?'

Its good to know that some of us have had a good experience with Tata.
I think this starts an interesting debate on Tata Safari as a product and Tata's service levels. There are a lot of proud Safari owners on this forum... My question to all of them is - 'Are we all really satisfied with the product and service?'.

Personally, my experience has reached a stage where I regret having bought a Safari

Nope, the service levels could (and should) get better in a lot of dealerships (except the star dealers we've seen so far), and the product definitely has a LOT of scope for improvement.
