@mansidea.. its some thing related to emission standard.. thats what they told.. but i dont think it is useful for diesel we are getting here. My dealer ship exp was good.. but need to wait for some time to get the things done..
@snaronikar.. manuverabiltiy is great especially in city driving.. you dont feel like you are driving a big car. but bit careful while parking.. parking sensors will be a nice idea.. i dont have any.. and havent encountered any situations yet ;-) you can expect a mileage of 9-10.5 max in city driving (with a/c) and 12 - 12.5 in highways with a/c on

A reverse camera will be ideal for that parking issue. Happy cruising.

You quoted "Later, I was told by a service engineer that Mahindra has done some thing in Scorpio to recycle the fuel (don’t know the details, please forgive), they just unplugged that thing (its like a wiring with a plug just under the bonnet below the front glass) and now my vehicle doesn’t have any problem, its going smoother than before, Hurray!!!!!!!! ".

Can you post a picture of the location where this plug is present? It will be easier for other scorpio owners like me to identify it.

I am looking for a SUV as a replacement for my 2003 Wagon R.

I am still confused between my choice of Mahindra Scorpio Lx / SLx

I have spoken to a Mahindra Dealer in Mumbai & they say they can do the exteriors of the Lx to make it look the same as the Slx (Coloured Cladding - 28K, Fog Lamps 1.8 K, Wheel Caps 2.5 K) Plus a Music System 10-15K.

Pls guide if it is advisable to go for a makeover of Lx & save appx a Lakh of Rs. or go for a SLx version.

This is the quote for various models I have got form a Dealer in Navi Mumbai
