Hey Dippy! Nice to know that your OHC A/T is in good condition! The FE figures are just outstanding to me keeping in mind that its an A/T.

Do tell us what work was done at the 40k km service..

The pictures are wonderful too! I saw the pictures at your garage too!

Nice report and very well maintained car, the FE figures are brilliant considering it an AT.

Any plans on modding her?

Dippy!! It's wonderful to see that you have maintained it looking as stock as possible.

your OHC is very young on the odo than mine, but i share your views on maintaining it stock. wishing you more and more miles on that one.

BTW, what did rust? Which metal part under wiper?
I have an NHC and a habit to keep looking around if other City owners are finding things that I miss (even though yours is OHC, wisdome may still be applicable)...

I didnt see it but in the local lingo they call it "khopla" or something like that. The left wiper wasnt moving properly because of that but the right one was fine. Got it welded cost came to 900 rupees including labour

Default Update: 44,895 kms

The car is now nearing 45k kms. Recently got the 40k kms service done from Linkway. This was a major service for the car. Apart from the usual engine oil changes, the AT transmission fluid, oil filter, brake oil, spark plugs etc were all changed. Brakes were serviced and cleaned and a scan done as well. The air filter was not changed since it is a K&N. They offered wheel alignment and rotation which I told them not to do. New tyres and alloys are on the cards so alignment etc will be taken care of then.

The bill for the 40k service came to around 8,000/- . Next major service is at 80k kms. Experience at Linkway has been good so far

The car feels really tight after the service, the tranny feels much more smoother and I can feel the difference.

Another update once new tyres and alloys come in. The ICE upgrade is in progress.

More later

So 14" best upsize would be 195/60-14?

Why is tyre bhagwan suggesting 185/60-14 when he is running 195/60-14.
