Parts are not a problem to source for the 124 in Mumbai or in any Metro I should think so and as for the cost, you'll be pleasantly surprised when you try to compare the cost of parts with say a Honda City... or any Honda or even a Skoda.... thats expensive!.

Guys, today I bumped into Viper and his new ride getting iced. I tell you, Immaculate is not the word for it. It looks as if its just out of the showroom and the 16'' shoes with the W211 alloys, boy they look far too cool. Loved the tyres too. Great colour, lustre and tints. The interior is as if no one has ever sat on her dark grey clothes. So far one of the best maintained 124s i've ever seen.
Wanted to click and post but I think thats Viper's prerogative entirely. Also he would want the car to be done up completely when he posts the pics. Cant wait to see its pics. Hurry up Viper!

It is a real surprice to know that a 124 s' parts are less costlier than that of a honda city, whereas a new merc s' parts price are inaccessible to many. Even a door mirror will cost a lot, let us forget about regular servicing.

I saw the car today - wow, it did look good.

When you sell this one to buy a newer / better one, let me know--- I'd like to buy it for my Dad, if I can afford to at the time you sell it!

Thanks & regards,
Sandeep

Hi,

It would have to be the after market. Authorised dealerships generally have huge margins and its not like you dont get genuine spares outside. You only need to know where.
