Glad to see that you bought GIII. You needed it rather than comfort walla tyres.

Hows much variation in performance do you feel when you switch to LPG from Petrol.

Your swift looks great. My favourite colours in Swift are White, Silver and Black.
Nice tyres and the spoiler suits the car.
Enjoy!!
Thanks for those compliments dude!

It almost resembles my alloys too, but it is league. So my choice was not bad.
You will be really getting the feel of the up sized shoes! I changed it on the day 1 itself, so could not get the feel of change. What did you do with the OEM alloys?
hmm... thanks man! No news for a loooong time now! Do come for the meets! Well... I sold the OE alloys to a fellow bhp-ian "retheshkr"!
Well... the new set of rubbers defenitely improved handling and braking thingys! The handling 'test' I did cannot be narrated here!!!

baba it is S Drives!!!
Reg LPG-Petrol differance, well.. I don't feel much differance unless otherwise you floor the pedal suddenly! LPG takes a bit of time for the 'process'! Thatz all! Otherwise no big issues! Don't even dream of doing a drag race with LPG!

but the 'real' thingy is confusing! Latest I heard is that, actually somebody else is making the stuff completely FOR Raj! So the reliability factor is now confusing me!

Default 50,000 kilometers up!!

My 1 year/8 months old swift's odometer showed '50000' y'day!!

ugh... took it straight to Maruti Service Masters for 50k service and told them to check all major areas including suspension, steering, brakes, electricals, etc. There was an irritating wind leaking sound inside the cabin when driven above 100km/hr.. told them to check that also.

Well...just now I got the car back with a 'very good' fitness tag from the top technician. He also confirmed me that the wind leaking sound is traced and fixed. Total service amount is Rs.2,450/-.. and that says it all.
Replacements were Spark Plugs (NGK), air filter, engine oil & oil filter.

Except the initial troubles, i never had any issues with this car and it served me very well covering almost 100 kms a day! It satisfied the 'enthusiast driver' in me to a very good extent also, I must say! Never felt this as an expensive car to drive/maintain. Only major expense was for the tyres and alloys which I did at 44K+ kms!!

Listing the glitches I faced so far..
(1) Power window switch fell down twice!
(2) Driver side inside door handle broke once.
(3) Brake lamp blown twice. (Right side)
(4) Rattlings inside the cabin RULEZ!!! I cud never dampen them fully!
Nothing more. None of the above costed me above Rs.200/-.

I really love this car. No major issues even after covering 50k kms with my kind of ROUGHEST usage is really impressing me at this point of time.
Climate control system is very usefull and so is the rear wiper.
I will recommend this car to anyone who wish to buy a new car in this segment.

KIND ATTENTION: MODERATORS.
Please update the title suitably.

Thats almost 20 months. Considering 30 days a month, its 600 days.
So, its almost 83.33 kms per day?

So, the bike is sitting idle these days?

Congrats, thats an amazing review of 50K. Glad to know there has been no major expenses till date. Btw, 50K kms in 20 months is quite a lot. Why didn't you opt for a diesel car?

I am sure your pocket got a major jatka with the petrol expense? What are the mileage figure of your car?

well.... this car is LPG kitted (Read the previous pages)!! Basic arithmetic was favourable at the time of purchase of this car and the diesel option wasn't there too!! It runs 325-350 kms(with a/c) per 28lts of LPG! Also, I wanted all the 'goodies' of this car at that price range!
I had an Indica before this one primarily opted for economy. But at the end of the day cudn't see much economy as I expected.
