Nice report. I wasnt aware that pete'ing would result in such a performance boost.

Nice report Hell Sta, another happy Petes Member. You must admit the box is addictive, the push when the turbo kicks in is insane.

You must be doing sub 10 secs to 100.

Addictive is the exact word, as its is without the box itself the turbo packs quite a punch and now with pete's its even more addictive !

I am not sure about that , unless i get some equipment to check on the number till then , i do not want to comment on the sub 10 second 100

nope i still work at the same office , sorry pal , could not catch up with you in TVM , but will do that some time soon ...lets see..

I think being a tech savy engine its very sensitive to the driving style, thats what i have seen , in between my dad had driven the car to Cochin an back and the mileage was around 16 Kmpl for that trip , so i think if you ease on the accelarator , and dont get to carried away by the rush , then i think you might aso be able to make it !

Suspension will have to wait but the air filter might go in soon .....

and dont worry about the warranty after getting the green filter. it all depends on how well you know the dealership.
yes i agree that the choices are more but then the there is a decrease in circumference if i use 195/60/R14 and that would mean a drop in mileage, do not want to do anything to decrease the FE . I know the tyre upgrade will affect the FE negativley but i cant do without that.

I was Evaluating Bridgestone Potenze GIII 195 - 195/65R14 89H Tyres
Michelin doesnt have any 195/65/R14s

Doesn't Michelin PP2 comes in 195/65/R14?

Mod's Note: Do not quote a full message when you do not need to. And quoting a large post to just throw in a casual question is a highly objectionable practice.

Checked with Madhu 's on Langford road and thier shop on JC Road, both tell me that Michelin doesnt have 195/65/R14s.

But if you're sure , pointers to where i can source them from are welcome

Hellstar, thats a nice report and congrats for the Pete's. How much did the Pete's cost you for the Verna and where did you get it installed? Also, did you change to K&N yet? thinking of stock replacement?

And, oh boy, you drive around a lot. I got my viva crdi in Oct'06 and currently at 18.5K kms only

@mobike, you should get peted, then you'll drive a lot more. it should cost you around 18000 for the viva CRDI which is a bargain.
