1400 Kms and First service done at the dealers workshop ( Fair Deal Cars ).

Servicing experience: 7 on 10.

All issues sorted out. The car was pulling towards the left because of low air pressure in the tyre. That was corrected.

The turbo feel is there after the first service.

The cleaning and polishing of the car was absolutely top class. I was with the car throughout the service process. Since it was Shradh time, there was no rush in the service center and they gave full attention to the 5 cars that were there.

Changed the engine oil. 3.5 litres cost me 680 bucks. Another 10 rs for the glass cleaning fluid they added. Total cost 690 including all taxes etc.

FE noted on the third tankfull is 19.5 with 90% AC and 90% city travel. The servicing was also done during this period.

The car is running like a dream, touchwood

good to know that your dealer was able to offer you a satisfactory service.

Did they offer to put in some additive in the engine oil?

Nopes. They did not mention any additive, though I would have declined anyways.

Default Great FE

19.5 with 90% city and 90% AC? That is a great FE to achieve.

Default And they say there is no space............

We loaded the car with seven..yes..7 adults on board from Gurgaon to delhi. The car still drove like a dream with no apparent loss of power.

The FE hovers around the 21 mark without AC in good city driving conditions. Still using the IOC / IBP regular diesels. Total run 3700 km

Anyone tried the IOC bunk in Dwarka near the palam flyover ? Thinking of getting hte car filled from there the next time.

Default I am getting 23kmpl

Well, after first service I drove on NH-1 and car just drove like a dream... touchwood... got it serviced from Motorcraft, very professional people.

I got FE of 23kmpl on the highway with 100% ac. I was very impressed with it. What do you say guys...

I am loving it.

At these speeds it's a real good FE.
Cheers,

Default 2nd Service Advice Needed

Hey Guys,

4800 km done and almost time for the second service. Planning to get the oil and filter change.

Need advice on the foll:

-- Changed oil in the first service. Used Mobil delvac super 1300 15 w 40. Is this good or do you recommend some other brand ?

-- No filters were changed in the first service, so should I press them for a change this time ?

-- I believe that wheel balancing is also a part of the second service.
