repairable i guess. I cant afford to buy a new car at this point in time.

Pras has some pics of the car. He was on the route a little behind me. dude stopped the car when he saw the accident and was with me all the time until things got settled at the police station. Couldnt contact anyone since my phone died. I owe him big time.

Heard from Prasanth. Sad; but hei, you are lucky coz you were hit no other than killer red buses.

The car belongs to GIRIJAKUMARY.R,P ; bought second hand on Feb 2009. Its a black Alto and I guess bought second hand from Indus.

saw that. the dude parked the car in the KSEB plant and hid in there.

We went there , saw the car there, even the police came with us, they said they couldnt do anything since there was no damage caused directly by the car, despite our, the KSRTC driver and passers by who said that the alto was at fault. Its probably still parked there now.

No point in vigilante justice

Glad to know both of you are totally safe. By the way, don't you have comprehensive insurance?

yes I do, but it still pays only 50% of parts like the bumper, taillamps, seats which need to be replaced etc.
And I'm not sure about depreciation

Sorry to hear that, but glad that nothing happened to you guys!

I suggest get on with the repairs and move on, this is one of those things which one cant do anything about.

the super fast. as you can see the road behind it, it was probably coming down pretty fast and could not stop in time

You two were wearing belts right? Was the hit violent enough to stun you or so?

yup. were wearing seatbelts. Was shocked for a moment, when we got the impact, but thankfully somehow managed to get control back before we fell into the ditch on the roadside

greenie, so sad to hear about the accident.

I actually passed by moments after the accident, heading to Peninsular to get my horn replaced. But I didn't recognize the car. Good to hear pras wasn't as blind as I was.
