Friends, thanks for your suggestions. I have had a look at the existing designs on the forum and want to push the envelope a bit further. The existing designs don't work for me (just a personal preference guys -- this is NOT a comment in ANY way on these designs).

I also don't have a personal preference for 'solid straight' lines/blocks on the redone front bumper/grill of the S10.

At the same time, I don't want a 'wacky' ride but a 'mean/aggressive looking' one.

So we need to put in our thinking hats and think different from the existing designs.

Any pointers on the other aspects like where in Bangalore, costs, issues etc?

doing the front bumper only may look out of place. i will suggest modding the existing bumper grill and adding a mesh grill (black). take out the fog lamps and customise the bumper to have airdams on either sides.

Chennai has the place for you, Shanavaz. Maybe you should drop into Chennai, back from Pondy!

Bingo..!!!! That's the track which is sounding similar to what I have in mind. The question is:

What could be some possible designs of this modding? Any wizards here would could conjure up some designs -- taking inspiration from the samples I posted?

An evening of unlimited beer on me for the chosen design cheers:.

Cheers,

here is a design for modding the existing bumper.

Eyelids, hood grill black finish, bumper grill replaced with mesh, fog lamp pods black finish, simple airdams.

Thanks badboyscad -- I hope it's not the beer motivating you but your creative juices.

In the design that you have given, the bumper and the body look 2 distinct parts. What I would prefer is that the central bonnet part and the central bumper area should appear as a single unit visually. If you notice that the designs that I have given as samples, this is what they have visually.

That 'seamless visual element' between the front bonnet central part and the bumper central part is MANDATORY.

I don't mind cutting the bumper from center (if at all possible) to achieve this.

I assume I am not asking for too much here guys. Is this at all possible? Are there mechanics who can cut plastic (or whatever it is) bumper and insert another fabricated piece into it?

Cheers,
