Yes. To be precise this is the area that needs to be visually one -- in an aggresive manner.

The central red/blue lines denote that the design can be slanting inwards from the bonnet (audi styling) or outwards from the bonnet (Mitsubishi evolution styling)

The 2 red circle on the sides is where I would prefer aggressive looking air dams.

PS: pardon my drawing skills. I can't even draw to save my life

Cheers,

In line with the lines from the bonnet, you could just extend the front grill Audi style. The frog lamps could make way for some serious air dams!

You should get in touch with this guy who has some mods done on an S10 in Chennai:

Fiat Palio 1.6 S10 - 16v100bhp's Photo Gallery - Team-BHP . They may not be what you described ...but look good in its own way. Didnt care for the white though.

I saw one swift in JP Nagar. That one had actually modded the bumper to make it like audi style with an excellent grill/mesh work. Must say that it looked great.

This one looks good -- but not in my scheme of things (Not aggressive enough). Once I get the design ready, I will contact him on inputs on the fabrication part.

You are most welcome but I am out of the country at the moment. you can contact Ravi, who runs a body shop near chennai central - 9884409998.

He is pretty good in fibre work in case you want to modify your existing bumper.

You could try the Alfa Romeo's bumper too, shown in your pictures from the 1st post. It should look cool and the fog lamps can be accomodated too.

Default first and second for me...

Wov badboy!! Really nice effort as usual...

I personally like the first and the second..

BUT about the first one, I am not so confident of such a broad grill work when it comes to life.. You always have to keep it in mind that the internals (parts seen through the mesh) wont be as dark as it is in picture.. they might show out even through the closest meshes available.. If you have a workaround for that (like painting it black), and If you can get the curves on the mesh right, then the first picture will look awesome IMHO..

badboy, good work mate. these give me an idea of what's possible. How about 1 or 2 designs where:

1. the air dams are NOT of wire mesh but proper air dams like in the sample pictures

2. the grill design is more aggressive a.k.a. EVO styling -- like 1st and last picture in the sample designs. (Not slanting inwards BUT outwards)

Also, we need to get the have some space to put the fog lamps -- where ever.

BTW, you coming to the pondy meet. right? will discuss you more with the car there in front of you.

Cheers,
