we are definitely qualified to judge any parameter in any car. Its just whether you wanna accept it or leave it. Remember, we are TEAM-BHPians who love cars, live cars!

One can judge a car without driving it by observing the car while it is on the road at a particular speed to know how it handles generally. One should follow that car for some considerable distance. One can also mentally compare how his car bounces over the same stretch of road than the car being observed, How the observed car accelarates from 40-100 while you are following, How the car smokes while overtaking or not etc.

Having said that, I do agree that a first hand driving test will definitely matter than such observations. But the observations give the outside view!

Getz is not a great handler like Swift, but it is not bad either. The excellent build quality of Getz keeps it more planted to the road, but the suspension is comfort oriented. The car offers great comfort, refinement and space.

Dude anju was pointing at people who comment without driving the car.
You might have seen many comments like - handling sucks, not a great handler etc
Often people do not mention to which car they are comparing.
If you are comparing Getz and Swift, its correct.
If its between getz and a BMW or a merc, getz always sucks.

IMO people should go for a drive for good KM's and on variety of roads before commenting on such stuff.

vabs78, excellent alloys. The car looks great in red with those alloys/ tyres.
I have a Getz 1.3 GLX. I am sure you are going to have a great time with the monster engine. Enjoy!!

Not touching. I have still not tested with full load, but I don't think it will be a problem. There is still some clearance left.

In the 3rd picture, your Getz looks totally fab. Knowing whats under the hood enhances its appeal that much more....congratulations on a wonderful hatch!

Also with 205/50, does steering feel very heavy at lower speeds?

You know , my ikon steering was little heavy than the Getz and i felt much comfortable and confident with it.. I am little uncomfortable with the light steering of Getz at high speeds.
