Yes. The same is written. No formal breakin is required but they recommended to keep the rpm below 3K.

3k is acceptable bcos it smells blood at 2k RPM itself..

Thats a good idea.
I heard modern oils are superior and no need to change them after breakin process.

IMO The more you change the oil, more your baby will be healthy

Any idea how much a mobil1 synthetic oil costs for diesel engine?

Synthetic oil is better for protection qualities. Definately recommended as first change.

Clocked 3500 kms so far. Today went to change the Engine oil . But the service guy said the oil is good and insisted me , not to change. Did the alignment today. I thought of fitting the Electrically adjustable Side mirrors and ask the spare parts section and he said they need to change the wiring harness for it and it will cost Rs.11000 for it alone. So i dropped the idea. Next week will fit the Seat covers and the extra Hella lights .

Hi Guys,

The 2 threads on Getz has almost made me finalize on Getz Diesel. Thanks to djay, vabs, undead, anju

I'm in Faridabad. Can guys close to here refer a reliable Hyundai dealer and what sort of deal can I expect. Heard of many horror stories of customers cars being used as TD cars.

I'll be booking it by the end of next week. Please help me get the best deal.

Thanks
Naman
