@undead - he he, sorry to miss out on your name earlier

By the way, I visited HMP on Mathura Road. They are saying currently the waiting period is 1 - 1.5 months. Are there any dealerships around faridabad where the waiting period is less.

What sort of deals are going on Getz Crdi. Okay there is no discount but what all freebies are generally given. People who have bought Getz recently, please let me know about this.

Thanks

Naman

Sad to hear about a scratch dude. You should have got down and kicked on his A**.
In bangalore i am facing lot of problem with bikers. Basically they dont stick to lane and even if they find a feet of space, they will turn without indicating others. Many people die because of such reckless driving.

Mudflaps, mats, perfume are covered in delivery charges. So they are not freebies.
Try asking for mp3 player and remote locking. Dont get sunfilms from dealer. They will be of cheap quality.

My sunfilms have lots of scratch marks. I am planning to remove them.
I am also installing skoda type horn this weekend.

undead,
Can you tell me about extra lights you are looking at?

Try getting custom stitched seats from stanley. You can mention different color combination if required.

Give me the details about the Skoda horns .
Skoda type horn is manufactured by bosch. Costs Rs. 550 and is very effective and powerful and is also approved by RTA/RTO.

I am looking for the Leather + PU Seats. Seems it costs around 15000 only. I dont want to put full leather as it will be costlier.

@SUV : During the First 1000km (Diesel Engine)

No formal break-in procedure is required with your new Hyundai. However, you can contribute to the economical operation and durability of your Hyundai by observing the following recommendations during the first 1000 km.
  • While driving , keep your engine speed within 3000rpm.
  • While driving , keep under three quarters of maximum speed.
  • Use moderate acceleration. Dont start, depress the accelerator pedal fully.
  • For the first 300km, try to avoid hard stops.
  • Dont lug the engine( in other words, dont drive so slowly in too-high a gear that the engine "bucks":shift to a lower gear)
  • Whether going fast or slow, vary your speed from time to time.
  • Dont let the engine idle longer than 3 minutes at one time.
  • Dont tow a trailer during the first 1000km of operation.

You can also use the roots make wind tone horn as well. It costs something like 550-600 bucks. Include a roots horn relay as well with another 100 bucks
