I was assuming undead was upsizing to 15". For 14", 195/60 is the correct size indeeed. I am on 15" in my CRDi.
If i am planning for 15" , i will be going for 205/50 only.

If you are going for 15" then go for 195/55-15. 205 is too wide IMO.

Don't you have 14" alloys. Also 205 is overdoing it. Stick to 195. Its a nice compromise of everything.

195/50 r15 is the perfect upsize. not even 195/55. i remember sitting and calculating all of these for my getz and 195/50 was the best.

Akshay - 195/55 R15 is perfectly acceptable if the stock size is 175/65 R14 which it is in Getz CRDi's. The OD difference is only 2.1%.

You have 175/70 R13's on your car.

I opted for 205/50-15 because i thought 195/55 is too high
During slow speeds steering will be pretty heavy.
Also because of 55 profile, ride quality will be better.
My maxxis tires are awesome man. Recently had been to Madikeri, coorg and talakaveri. Driving in ghats was an easy task. Total grip with these tires. Ride was a bit harsh but everything else was awesome.
+ point is these tires are super silent

A few things like tyre tube and steel wheel can be given a miss, since you have alloys and new tires. Labor will be fully covered by insurance and metal will depreciate about 10% i think so for metal, insurance will be given for 90% and plastic will be 50%.

This is just an estimate. The final bill will be different.

Plastic - 50%
Metal - 100% if the car is less than 6months old. i.e 0% depreciation
Metal - 95% if the car is more than 6months old. i.e 5% depreciation

In most cases it turns out to be lesser than the estimate.

The list looks big man. Try at some other hyundai service centre.
I remember one of the accident with my friends Accent viva crdi car where the driver hit a tree at around 80KMPH in the night. The front bumper, fender, windshield, mirrors, headlight assembly & many more stuff were damaged. Total cost came to around 80K. In your case 90K looks more.

What is that joint assy which costs 21K?
