Thanks guys. I am very happy to get her back in my hands. The job was almost satisfying .
I kept the tire pressure at 28psi on all wheels . Is it fine ? Or shall i increase it to 30 psi ? The tire dealer is persuading me to fit Nitrogen on the tires. It costs Rs.25 per tire. Is it worth it ?

If i am not wrong, u can have 30 in the front - thanks to the monster of an engine under the hood, and 28 in the back... other pocket-rocketers, inputs please!!

And there is a thread on filling nitrogen in the tires, and the broad feedback is that it does not make a difference.

Like KPZen has pointed out, better check on the tire's date and take it up to the dealer!!

Yes. I did check tire date when purchased . But the dealer got the tires 2 weeks back only . I know that because , he ordered it only after i asked him to . He didnt have any stock of it. Still i need one more tire and it has been ordered too. But i didnt mind it as tires have around 6 yrs of good life. isn't ?

I will keep the front tire pressure to 30 PSI. I too thought that the weight needs a 2 PSI addition.

I went for a small drive today and noticed these things from my new tire.
1. Tire noise is on the higher side and Ride quality is the same as the stock tire. May be that its a high performance tire and not Comfort tires?
2. When going through uneven patches on roads (not potholes), i find the car just sliding or moving uneven , a bit . I experienced this when i was driving a Scorpio once. Can anybody tell me the reason for it ?

Dude i am maintaining 32 in front and 30 in rear. I find steering wheel hard to rotate at around 30. Yes the car slides if you go over bad roads/uneven roads but on even roads the grip will be amazing.
The ride quality has not suffered much because the overall sidewall height is increased by 6mm and that is compensating for similar ride quality even though you are running performance tires.

ON even roads and corners the grip is amazing. I have fitted Nitrogen on all tires and kept the pressure to 30psi on all four tires..

175 / 65/ R14 is reallly dangerous for Getz Crdi.

Today i went with him and changed his tyres to:
195/60/ R14

Steel Rims changed to Alloys.

Ride is really superb now. Wanted to test it on the highways.
