Not sure if this charge was nominal or higher. Need to figure out how much Kropex or Trident charging.
Trident has charged me Rs.875 + taxes towards the paid service head during my 45k service some 5-6 months back.
On top that they have added some miscellaneous expense, to which i had some talk with SA. Overall i have paid around Rs.4920 for my 45K service.
Look into this link for complete expense.

Also, added the Nulon to the engine oil. Need to monitor how good is this guy!
What for this Nulon ?

I am still sticking to Sundaram Motors, near Hoodi. I am much satisfied with them.
Is Sundaram whitefield is still doing service? Do they are keeping regular spares?

I see that he charged 700+ for Air filter. But I got it for ~Rs.200. Seems strange.

Here is my break up.

Seal Ring + Oil Filter + Air Filter = 328+ tax
Engine oil = 760 + tax
Labour = 850 + tax.

All inclusive Rs.2178/-

Its for engine treatment. Using it for first time. So, cant comment now on this. May be other users can. Anyone?

Yes, they do for Multi brand. And they do only for those for which they can source spares. Meaning, for GM, FIAT & HONDA they do it for sure. If they don't have spares, they source it from their Chennai showrooms at no extra cost to us.

Luckily they had both Airfilter & Oil filter with them. And so, i got it without much hassle.

Been on a long drive after long time. And first time after I changed to A-Drive.

It felt good with the grip, but noise wise, I think its on par or better than the my old Goodyear.

And reached this mark few KMs after the Mulbagal Cafe Day .

Hmm, interesting milage after this Nulon and recent service.

After a verrry long time I got consistantly 15.x for past 3 tank fulls. Was plesantly surprised, reason being I took the Chitoor route and not the regular krishnagiri - vellore route toll roads.

I'M loving it!!!

Its been exactly 4 years now and I just reaching 45K.

Finally here comes my Aveo 1.4 LS Limited edition EDIT: 52000 KMs Update-img01188201205201135.jpg

Hmm took a loooong time to hit the last 500KMs

Blame it on my travels.

Have been looking for the Sun film for longer than anyone can imagine, and seems its all for good. Saved couple of thousand bucks.

Not much update on the Nulon front. Never got a chance for the long drives. But in city, I do not see any difference with the Nulon so far.

45K on odo, irrespective of your abroad travels and cycling, not bad.
I am still running 49xxx on odo. Last 4-5 months, just covered some 1000 km which includes a Tirumala trip also. Totally depends on volvo for my daily commute and taking out my car only for some weekend rounds and grocery shopping.
Chevy is having a service camp in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh from May 25th to May 27th. Look at this link.

Thanks for the info Kavu. Will definitely go there since I live only a KM away from Kropex. Finally clocked 10k after 21 month on the Aveo on the recent trip to Bandipur.

Got the 4th service done today at Kropex, Bangalore. Supposed to be at 20k but I only managed 12k as of now and given by suggestions didn't ask them to change the spark plug.

Final bill
1100 - labor charge
450 - Brake cleaning (SA said they do it on every service and it's not part of labor charge... not sure)
350 - Consummables
330 - Wiper blades

Hello. Good to read your ownership thread. I would say an aveo is an average car. Something's are nice something's aren't. It is a value for money deal no doubt. Pretty solidly built car, bright interiors, decent ride handling and mileage. It's fairly roomy too? How happy are you with Chevrolet after sales and service?
Ps- they've changed the dials it seems over the years. My cars speedometer and tach are different.

So, you have not opted for the cashless program is it?

Yes, I am very happy with this car. My only concern is the fuel Its petrol, and given the current scenario, I sometimes regret for not picking a diesel heart.

Regarding the service, I have been always giving it to Sundaram Motors in Bangalore. Even after they stopped the dealership, I am with them. I did not find any issues. In worst case, if he do not have spares, they can get it from chennai since they still have dealership in chennai.

It is reaching 48K and waiting for that 50K moment

Btw, during my last Ooty trip, I noticed that sometimes during the steep curves it loses complete juice in 2nd gear. Especially, when you are made to slowdown during the climbs by the cars from other side... Otherwise, I am happy with the way he has behaved.

Kavu, did you get your 50K service? Any feedback to share?
