Mad Monkey's replacement Fiesta. Brand new 1.4 TDCi SXi delivered yesterday straight from the yard. Drives very refined.

Kudo's to Ford India for sticking to their commitment, by taking back the lemon and covering a majority of the losses. Mad Monkey's accountants would have booked 2+ years of depreciation benefits on the older car and will start afresh on the replacement. Thus, net net, no loss at all to the customer. Thank you, Ford!

Hey Congrats.
Car looks very neat.
Meanwhile what is the color MoonDust Siver or Platinum ?
Enjoy the car and pen down some initial ownership review.

Thats good news Monkay. Congrats on the new car. Nice to know your troubles with the car were addressed and resolved by Ford although it did lead to quite a lot of hassle.

I just have one question though.

Is the regn. of the old car transferred to the new car? Or does the new car bear a new regn number? If yes, does the customer have to pay for the registration only?

GTO & MM,

Am I missing a thread some where else?? What happened in between the Price cheating claim and getting a new car. For all our purposes - please explain how and what happened -What promises did ford make? Did you decide to press charges? Did they try some dirty convincing tricks before giving you this?

--- BTW - Cheers on your re-born ride---

Ps - Also did TBHP have a pressing impact and a say in this matter? (WRT - loosing brand image fear)
