I think its best for Monkey to answer your questions.

That is great news. Congrats!!

I am eager to know whether Ford was ethical enough to give a replacement without any major depreciation.

Good stuff for Monkey! Thank God Ford gave you a new car. How much did you have to forfeit?

My friend has a similar story to share about his Fiesta. Would urge him to post here and perhaps with the guidance from fellow BHPians he can stake some claim too!

Cheers

And yes, MM, please do let us know what happened. Moving from page 4 to 5 is a sudden change.

Its a good news. And this shows how car companies are taking India seriously. A little more strengthening of its A.S.S and customer satisfaction, and FORD would make a real big change in the sales figure for sure.

Hey Mad Monkey,

Congrats on your new car. Atleast now you can forget the hardship that youhad to put up with. Did you opt for the extended warranty and did ford give you a leather steering wheel with the new car???

Regards,
Sajan

Man, Ford has given a NEW car and you are asking for this leather steering wheel .
Personally I would be much happy and relived the moment they provided the new one.

He paid for the TV. TV was a lemon. He was given a replacement. He was asked to pay up some cash too! Not only that, the harassment and humiliation he lived for 2 years with the defective and unreliable vehicle.

I think its fair on MM's part to demand the last nut and even perfect tyre pressure on this one for sure!
