yup - also considering 14+ FE daily between BTM - ECity on hosur road, (avg 30Kms), diesel was the only option...

Hi santosh,

> the link sure helped, am too lazy to fix it tho, busy on weekdays!

The message to which the link leads to was posted by me.

> yeah, considering I have never smoked!! what was I thinking!

I did not mean that way! You could always put a good defect free cigarette lighter in that socket. Unfortunatley I doubt it can be used for anything other than lighting cigarettes.

1) Got a 20A fuse @ 16Rs
2) Was charged 50Rs for installation.
3) Told them I will call Regional office to complain.
4) Promptly refunded!!!
What else can I say!!
5) Clock/Reverse Lights/Charger port working.

Good.

When you have some time to spend, take a look at the fuse box yourself. It is not all that easy because of its location.

That experience could help if one of the head light fuses go bad. Unlikely, as I haven't lost a fuse so far in my Marina!

yeah, i used to play around with it in Alto. Just becasue the car is <4 mths old and a "tata" I did not want to risk it. My 'm'a's's guy would have dont it himself, but i told him not to touch the car for a year.

PS - where are those "spare fuses". Above the regular bank inside "black" boxes??

Oh! I 'think' they were in the cover itself. Frankly, I don't remember. I went at the fuse box to get that lisy I had posted long back.

And there are somne relays that can get knocked loose when you open the fuse box. Take care to see they are in their correct places when you put the cover back.

realistic - 15-16 MAX. I floor it for the turbo kick, and dont care much for FE (of course <14 calls creates a warning to me). And are you from bangy? Bcoz Hosur Rd to Elec City is a special experience. Not many roads in India give you oppurtunity to do 13+ Kms only in 2-3 gears..!!

I got 21 KMPL Once between Coimbatore and Cochin - Midnight to early morning drive, so very sedate gear changes and perfect drive, but not on traffic roads.
