Yesterday got a tank full done and my Getz recorded the worst FE till date, 13.6 kmpl.
That's the worst?! For a hatch of its power, I must say that I am impressed with the efficiency.

Yes thats the worst in 4800kms. The previous worst was 14.4kmpl when i hit 185kmph and was doing 150+ kmph for 50kms..
Under normal driving and occasional turbo thrills it consistently gives 15+ kmpl..

Thanks to Ishan i just realised after doing 6k kms that the braking of this car is fantastic!!
Acceleration has never been an issue n should never be but for us(tbhpians) power is never enough right?

BTW i'm having 185/65-14 Yoko A drives.

No race there, the CRDi would have run circles around the Suzie

Like Unihorn mentioned aZa, there was no need! Harsh was riding in the back seat while I was driving & he exclaimed that even after Pete's, the Swift was no match for the Getz!

P.S. Imagine a Getz with Pete's!!

The swift is no match for the getz.

The best part about getz crdi is the NVH level. Its far superior than Swift ddis. You can compare it with german oil burners.

Default Real Earth GETZ CRDi 2nd Service update !!

During my car's first service i had enquired about the rough estimate for the 2nd service and i was told ~3k.
Incredibly today my cousin's Getz went in for the 2nd service and returned with a total bill of Rs 1800 only....

Odo- 10075kms
BILL
Engine Oil - 5.3 litres - Rs 977
Oil Filter - Rs 301
Air Filter- Rs 307

! A M A Z I N G for all that torque and fun !

Only issue my cousin has had till now is that he hasn't got FE more 16kmpl in city.

My Getz has done 9300kms. Should be ready for 2nd service next week.

kpzen, I got a verna around a month or so back. The salesperson told me 1.5k for second service when i asked him how much a very basic service would cost. Looks like you've got an accurate amount! Did you go in for engine oil change during first service? Any idea how much service costs may differ bw the verna and the getz?

1. No, I didn't go for the oil change during the first service. First service was only a wash and just a routine check up of all oil levels.
2. Most of the main mechanical stuff is same in both the cars. So, service costs should be almost similar.

After discussing with the CRDi gurus on forum i was about to change the engine oil at 7500 kms thats when my baby returned a FE of 18.2kmpl which included consistent driving 140+ speeds... Change of mind, i didn't want to mess around when she was performing like a dream !

@ kpzen:
Air filter changed with just 10K kms on odo? Was this really required or was done due to dusty condition?
