Thanks Manan! Its a stock replacement one.
I'm told, cold air intake is not possible in Verna and Getz.

And one question, does fitting the green filter disturb the rather low NVH level? or is the noise cool?
Engine noise at idle has increased and while flooring there's roaring growl @ 3000rpm..

Whos the bakra now???

@Ishaan i have that seat next to you booked first! LBM can slipstream behind, he was second afterall. Just kiddin LBM Paaji!!

@KP- I have similar floor mats but they are thinner and were packed in a set of 4, i wanted to get the ones you have but i dont understand, as you said they come in rolls so if you cut them, dont they need some sort of stitching/lining to hold the loose ends? Otherwise the floor will be littered with pieces of nylon(i guess thats the material) and the mats will come apart with use.
With Insane Ishan at the wheel and taking on a 523i what do u expect the passengers to do?

Drive down to Faridabad i will get you the mats. For red color u may contact jkdas.

Hey KP,

So did you complete the acc and braking test with Ishan this weekend. Wanted to come along but was badly caught up due to code freeze deadline.

Anyhow, would like to see how your monster is doing . Maybe coming weekend.

Till then, keep burning rubber.

Btw, my PPs are almost worn out. They really have low life and more so in this torque monster.

Does stock replacement suffice for +1, +2 setting of Petes?

I wonder why noise has increased at idle. Is there a change in idle RPM?

I think peter or any other guys who have more experience of petes can only explain this.

Did some 5th gear roll on testing.
100-140 kmph - 8.0 secs
100-160 kmph - 14.6 secs
100-180 kmph - 19.6 secs

Used a simple stop watch so the timings may not be very precise.

don't u think it's going too fast in 5th gear? octy guys, accord guys, laura guys, elantra guys (me lolz), civic guys, OCTY vRS guys, Verna Guys, Magnum guys, Altis guys... you need to watch this thing.

what are the timings starting from 4th gear...at 100 kmph, it will be a killer too. Dumb hyundai gimme ABS in getz crdi... i wanna compete him.

Hey Vidyut !
Did the normal roll on speed test today.
3rd gear 20-80kph - 10.8 secs
4th gear 40-100kph - 10.9 secs

IMO, in this car u would rarely be in 3rd gear at 20kmph. One small blip of throttle in 2nd gear takes it to 40kmph or beyond it depending on how heavy your right foot is..

Aye! Come on !!! I don't think its faster than all those cars...All those can do 200+ kmph.

Theoretically i think 5th gear should be as fast as 4th gear in roll on speeds starting from 100.
At 100kmph the rpm is right on 2000rpm in 5th gear and ready to kick off.

Frankly, i haven't done more than 100kmph in 4th gear.

Man those are insane roll on figures. ingear as well as outright acceleration both are fantastic.

Does anyone know Verna's roll on speed timings?

Vidyut - The 3rd and 4th gear roll on speeds of ANHC and Fiesta S are also quite similar, around the 11sec mark i guess.

who will run their cars above 200 kmph? It is faster till 200 kmph haha. I remember once i overtook Accord guy in my elantra and he was after me with his lefts and rights. Max i reached 205 kmph on stock elantra and accord guy couldnt come ahead of me. haha he was trying harder and harder. bwahaha I bet Getz crdi will be faster than my elantra because Elantra is much much heavier car than Getz. I wanna add pete's box to elantra, i'm PATAYING my big bro for it. hehe Prajesh how about rollons someday? hehe

Dont know that, but these are from an old run of HellStar's Verna, stock condition(maybe a filter, dont remember), and with some crappy tires... Wonder what it will do with the Petes box and good rubber?

And you really should get Ishan/iPhone to do some dynolicious runs...

Drive safe.
