Thanks.
I believe 1st change would be ideal at 5000kms and then onwards at the scheduled intervals. Because at 1800kms you are running in the engine with very moderate driving so the oil remains in a good condition.

The prime model interior design is different so u can't swap it with black interiors of the old models.
Once u start driving this car, the engine will make u forget everything about the interiors.

The car looks great in the last picture.

I miss kick of Diesel. Anyone willing to swap diesel with prime GLX 1.3?

Completely agree with you there, personally i loved the old Getz interiors in black and also the exterior was better IMO, it looked very masculine, The new one is very feminine and has to be worked upon a little to make it look aggresive.

Guys what about ABS? Is it being offered on the CRDi as an option?

And i agree with u abhik! the older black interiors though a bit staid were good quality and more asthetic! Even the exterior was more masculine!

Its sad that Hyundai's fastest and most poweful offering in that segmant lacks these important safety features. Cost of production might have gone up and in turn so would the cost of the vehicle itself but i am sure these feature could have been kept as an option.
If Hyundai can put a sunroof on a variant of the i10(something really not required on a segment which targets the mass, who are more intrested in economy and a cheaper price tag), they could have very well put ABS on the Getz Prime CRDi.

Personally Hyundai should have kept the older looks of the Getz as it was more attractive and masculine. Most people would agree to this. And the all black interiors should be an option atleast.
The new look is very feminine and thus stops a lot of people from buying the car as they have other competitive options to choose from. The 1.1L should be in the new shape so as to attract a niche which would mostly include women of all generations as i have seen the Prime more popular in this market segment.
The 1.5 CRDi and the 1.3L variants should have retained the older looks with a few visuals tweaks on the exterior and interior as this segment includes a good number of people who are performance oriented and enthusiats and also looking at good fuel economy and a VFM product on the whole, which Hyundai has absolutely excelled in doing.
The older looks would have complemented very well with the performance that the 1.3L and 1.5L(especially) variants offer.

Just my two cents.

Default Hi

IMHO whats this deal about no ABS, no this & no that.
hey, how about driving and learning your car without being hand held?? again IMHO

I bought the getz crdi 2 months and have covered 5K and honestly have not found time to even think of my leather seats, car design, fog lights, spoiler and even ICE???

the car is just addictive plus leaving other cars in the dust too

have already chalked out plans for trips to Mysore followed by goa.

got to get ICE installed before the goa trip

After the 1st service i feel the turbo kick has faded away and power feels very linear.. Dunno if it is because i have become used to it or something else??
