Default Watch out, watch out mountain roads - here comes the horse and TSK...

Thats one great breaking news and definitely all hoping no more again all these pain and sufferings. Let the rides flow now thick and fast, you and horse have been held up for quite long.

Happy journey to Sangla, but dont think you would be that satisfied by not going beyond to Chitkul and staying over there instead of Sangla. No idea of the weather of those parts now, but with an abnormally hot winter may be the roads will be perfect for that 4wd shift. If you do modify the tour to Chitkul, you can stay at Panchali Resort , the last motorable road hotel out there. The phone numbers are on that HP travelogue, on one picture in page 3, may be you can call and ask whats the condition, and if you do go, dont book - we really got a good bargain. The front hotel rooms had tremendous views - remove the curtains and you are directly looking at the ice mountains.

Anyway good luck, and again all hoping that let everything be back to normal now.

Mine also may 2008 and I am also experiencing this service light problem.
Tanveer I am too experiencing a lot of problems,
My AC fan had some short circuit and is not working.

I am having another problem of POWER LOSS.
It is like start driving , after around 10 mins or sometimes after 1 hour there is a power loss, engines acceleration speed is slower. Acceleration in any gear is slower.
Like if normally is takes to go from 2000 rpm to 3000rpm 3 secs then in this power loss situation it takes 5 secs.
In idling position if I press accelerator fully , engines rpm will not go over 3900 rpm but normally it goes to around 4500.
Sometimes this problem goes after switcing off and then on but sometimes it goes after 30 mins or sometimes dont go off for whole day.
I will be taking it to TASS soon.

Congrats Tanveer, hopefully you can put this painful chapter behind you and go ahead to have many more enjoyful chapters. I can recall my state of mind when the Baleno had crank-shaft breakage and was in the shop for 15 days. It is a great relief to see your car back on road.

Glad to hear that the problem is sorted. Who would have thought it would be something as small as a return line. I'm sure your thread will help a lot of other people who may be facing similar problems. Now go and hit the open road!
