Vehicle is back with me. Complaint has been sent to Tata. When they respond(or if they respond) I will be called.

As per my note for all your problems faced by you TATA have responded positively and sorted out your problems even the minute one's .

I guess the statement does not look good and needs some change.

They cannot solve a problem in months, and you call that positive. Besides that I have had two breakdowns, 2 month long service light issue, multiple visits to service stations to get sideways skid sorted, and its all positive.....?
I have been mailing customer care multiple times to send an engineer to inspect my vehicle for months, and nobody is responding.
The only response has been very polite mails with apology. But empty apology not followed by action is useless. I want a reliably performing vehicle, not positive energy from TML

This may work, TML have an office at New Delhi and I suggest you go there personally and wait upon a responsible person, meet him/her, and explain things,

I understand it means a couple of days away from office and long waits but I guess it will work. Nothing wrong in trying it in my opinion.

How true! Sincerely empathise with your predicament, as an ex-owner of an Indica.

The customer care guy called back.
They have a wonderful solution. An engineer, who supposedly is the only engineer of TML will come and grace Sanya motors Okhla on monday.
So I should miss work and drop my safari 30kms away in phase three.
It will take couple of days, so on Tuesday I should again miss work, and collect my vehicle.
The esteemed his holiness TML engineer cannot come to Sterling noida for some strange reason. His schedule is very busy, and just like the lake cannot come to the horse, the horse must go to the lake.
Time for a long love letter to my friends at Tata motors limited.
After so many mails. I am sure they look forward to my love letters

Tanveer,

Utilize this oppurtunity if you can manage. TML engineers are a hard lot to catch on to, believe me

I know how it feels to be at the mercy of a service engr after spending 10 lacs on a vehicle, but you see, at times, being patient really helps. Go and meet him wherever he wants you to go, take his contact details and yes, make it a point to build a rapport with him.
Trust me, it will really help.

If he was coming all the way from Pune, it would have been a different matter, but this guy is based in Delhi and he goes as far as jammu on customer complaints, Why can't he come to noida

He may be the "Chosen One" Tanveer.

Skywalker always goes to visit Obiwan. You never see Obiwan coming to see Skywalker.

Treat him well you must.

any idea on the tooth pattern used in safari? is it 60-2 pattern or the 36-1 pattern which is present on the tonewheel.

the camshaft and crankshaft sensor outputs are required by ecu for getting to know
angle position of crankshaft at injection-TDC for first cylinder.

so if there is a problem such that the sensor cannot detect the gaps properly, this kind of problems may occur.

any idea on the sensors used in safari?
