Took the car to HASS today and they said they'll need to keep the car for 4-5 days and then only will confirm the solution. SA also told me that it will be a minimum of 20k given that all rubber beadings etc will have to be replaced

Facing this issue only for last 4-5 days. It was all fine earlier.
Same issue in my car. It happens when i open the door to get inside the car, when its been standing in the rain.

doesnt happen when driving, or when door is closed.

So i am not worrying about it. I think the water from the roof channel comes in when we open the door to get in.

Is this the pre-facelifted model's stock HU? Mine is a 2007 car with stock HU; is this product compatible with it?
And is it possible to plug in this device to the slot without dismantling the dashboard?

Thanks in anticipation of response.

Mine is a 2008 model car, in all probability it should fit the HU on your car too, just to make sure you could have the car taken to a car decor / your HASS and have a look at the rear part of the unit. And No, it is impossible to plug it in without taking the dash off. I got mine fitted at the HASS. Took the technician 5 minutes to take it off, plug the unit and put everything back in order.

Proper soldering with heat shrink sleeving should be 'almost' as good as an straight through wire. May I inquire why the wires were cut, since connectors are almost ubiquitous.

Rat chewed the wires rendering the car not starting up.

Guys my friend is facing a strange issue in his Honda Civic 2007. When the vehicle is turned off completely keys out doors lock, the panel lights will go out like it's supposed to then will flicker back on. The lights of speedometer, fuel gauge and temperature turn automatically on flicker for sometime and will go of, this continues till the car is unlocked again. Checked it with a local mechanic, he did a OBD and said its not showing error Code might be moisture ISSUE. We are planning to take the car to HASS this weekend. Wanted to know what is causing the problem, also should we disconnect the battery to prevent from drain?

This appears to be moisture or maybe loose electrical contacts. Does this happen at the end of a sunny dry day?

It is better to disconect the battery. But why to delay rectification of electrical problems that have potential for short circuit? Also battery disconnect may need throttle calibration after connecting.

My car had same issue only the speedo console would stay on. After a dry spell it would get back to normal.

Noticed a small issue since last 2-3 days with the LHS from window. Whenever the window is rolled down for a long time and I try to roll it back, it stops midway. I have to again take it a bit down and roll it up again to close it. Any idea what may be the issue, should I have the FNG take a look at it?

TIA.

See if there is some obstruction in the window channel. Also in some older cars where the power window motor goes weak, it finds rolling the windows up specifically difficult when the channel is wet, like in monsoons.
Suggest you to clean the channels both inside and outside. Roll the window up and pour some water mixed with shampoo over the channel to clean it up from dust and debris. Try it before you take it to professional assistance.
Regards.
